FORKTAIL RAINBOWFISH The Blue Eye Forktail Rainbowfish, also known as the Blue-Eyed Forktail or Furcata Rainbowfish, is a fantastic addition to any community or planted tank. Originating from the lush rainforest streams of eastern Papua New Guinea, this fish is highly adaptable to aquarium life. We are proud to offer top-notch, tank-raised specimens for sale. This stunning fish boasts vibrant coloration, particularly in its bright blue eyes. Its body ranges from gray to green, accented by bright yellow edges on all fins and black margins on the rear dorsal, anal, and caudal fins. Juveniles may have more muted colors, but they will intensify with age when provided with a diverse diet of high-quality omnivorous foods. For the best color display, keep them in schools of 6 or more, with a mix of males and females. Offer a diet of omnivorous flake foods, live, freeze-dried, and frozen foods for optimal health.
