Their behaviour is no different to any other betta splendens and as a result, caution should be taken when considering tank mates as these fish may decide that they prefer not to share their habitat. The females are more likely to tolerate their own kind, but there are always exceptions, so if a sorority is being considered, then there should be plenty of plants and decor to offer hiding spots and to help break the line of sight.
