Bicarbonate and Carbonate are essential macro elements for the formation of Aragonite, a carbonate mineral necessary for the biulding blocks of both SPS and LPS corals. ASF Alkalinity and pH Booster is a complex of carbonate and other buffers present in seawater that maintain proper alkalinity and pH. It will replenish carbonate levels consumed by growing coral in a reef aquarium. Maintaining a consistent carbonate hardness bewteen 6.5-8.5dKH will allow a healthy develoent within all corals.
