Description The American made and patented Lewis K710 Locking Safety Knife is a unique product in today’s safety market. The automatic safety hood snaps shut and locks once contact is lost with the cutting surface. The locking safety hood performs its function regardless of the position of the release mechanism, so the operator can’t inadvertently override the safety feature. The fixed blade design allows two stage definitive cutting depth (1/4″ and 3/4″), unavailable in retractable blade knives. The easy blade changing along with the five blade storage chamber saves valuable time when a dull blade needs replacing. The K710 has received the prestigious European TUV safety certification. This stringent testing procedure checks not only for the functionality of the safety features but also the overall durability of the tool.
