Product Information PRODUCT INFO: A specialist ion exchange resin designed for use in freshwater aquariums. Dedicated primarily to heavily stocked aquariums, struggling with the problem of elevated nitrates. Dedicated for the chemical absorption of nitrogen compounds dissolved in water. It works selectively, effectively absorbing nitrates from water without affecting the level of minerals necessary for aquatics life. Removes harmful compounds from the water, reduces the frequency of water changes and prevents the growth of algae. HOW DOES IT WORK? Absorbs harmful nitrogen compounds Clarifies the water Supports battling algae Doesn’t affect essential minerals HOW TO USE: 125 ml is enough for purifying 400 liters of water. Place the resin in a fine-mesh filter bag and then place it in the filter basket with a constant flow of water. Dark brown discoloration of the product indicates it’s wear . The packet should then be replaced or regenerated. Regeneration can be done with chlorine-containing bleach. Regeneration should be carried out in a 50% bleach solution for approx. 6 hours. After that, rinse the resin thoroughly and leave it in clean water for about 24 hours.
