Flanged 688ZZ Ball Bearing – 8x16x5mm

Description This Flanged Bearing is a chrome steel instrument bearing suitable for many applications. They can be used with our 8mm ACME Lead Screws and our Threaded Rod Plate. With similar principals to other 688ZZ Ball Bearings, these bearings have an additional flange to allow a flush fitting against the shoulder of the bearing to a plate. This flush fitting serves to seal and offer protection against ingress of debris, moisture and dust whilst retaining the grease within the bearing. This Flanged Bearing is made from high quality Chrome Steel, and with 2 Metal Shields to protect the ball bearings has proven exception performance and durability. Related
