Description For flattening malleable metals after rolling, cutting, shearing, or for removing dents or other imperfections. The upper and lower platens are both case hardened and polished steel, 60mm in diameter. Simply place the article to be flattened upon the lower platen, then strike the plunger with the palm of your hand with some force and your work piece will be flattened evenly. A compression spring returns the striker to the up position.
